FAULT MAGAZINE Reviews Casely-Hayford LFWM AW/17

‘Cutting Facets’ There was a lot to celebrate this season for the duo behind Casely-Hayford’s AW17 collection. Not only was it creative director Joe Casely-Hayford’s 30th year, but there was also the introduction of the brands 1st Women's Ready-To-Wear collection that fluidly embedded itself within the menswear collection. Such an event presented itself as the perfect opportunity for the family…

FAULT MAGAZINE Reviews Bobby Abley LFWM AW/17

Taking a detour from his love of Disney’s Mickey Mouse (as seen at previous A/W collections), this year Bobby Abley took inspiration from his other childhood dream, that is, the Power Rangers. Both male and female models transformed into the iconic characters as they trail-blazed down the catwalk in bright primary colours, wearing ranger jackets and sweaters in all 5 colours (helmets to match)…

FAULT MAGAZINE REVIEWS Blood Brother LFWM AW/17

Taking heavy inspiration from the quintessentially British moving landmark that is the River Thames, the AW17 Blood Brother collection poised the question of how the surrounding iconic buildings and abstract oddities of the river reflect London so well. The collection presented monochromatic prints resembling mapping and cartography of the river. These designs…

FAULT MAGAZINE REVIEWS Chalayan LFWM AW/17

Showcasing his AW17 presentation, Chalayan marked his return on the third day of LFWM. A sea of navy blue, black and grey flooded the runway as the models walked though Chalayan’s Mayfair studio. Inspired (very subtly) by Ancient Greece, we saw loose tailoring with a lot more draping, and softer geometric silhouettes. Dropped shoulders served…

Trust in your intuitions

Once I gave the headphones a thorough once-over exam, I tried them on. As I mentioned, they have a classic over-the-ear style and just looking at them, the padding on the ear pieces seem adequate and the peak of the headband seemed to be a bit lacking, but you don’t really know comfort unless you try on the product. So, I slipped the headphones on and found them to be exquisitely comfortable.…
