[Premiere] Julia Star’s New Music Video for ‘Notice Me’

Notice Me presents a new chapter in Julia Star’s life, condensing her rap cuts’ rage into a controlled release of feelings, sung with 4 am crispness. Discussing the track’s situation, she said “just being honest about how I felt helped me get through a really difficult time. I tend to be completely swallowed by my feelings, and often the more I try and hide things, the bigger the mess will get later on when it all comes up.”

Director Tom Hadrill used UV invisible spray paint to explore what he described as “the concept of revealing something to the viewer that is hidden”, alongside a carefully stained corpse bride dress, designed by Gentle Mutilation.

Notice Me is available on streaming services now.
