Counterfeit Return With New Single ‘It Gets Better’

Yes yes, we Stan COUNTERFEIT and everyone knows it so imagine our excitement to see that the band had returned to the stage for a huge packed out show in London’s Garage.

The good news keeps on coming with the release of their new uplifting protest song entitled ‘It Gets Better’. The phrase has often associated with the ‘It Gets Better Project’ a organisation that works to uplift, empower, and connect LGBTQ+ youth around the globe.

The band have used the phrase in the song to cast a much wider net, in hopes that it will help bring down the barriers of division plaguing the world right now and help the world on the path too healing.

Band member Jamie Bower has said, “It Gets Better is a deeply personal song and its message cuts right to the heart of who we are. Our goal is to bring people together, to dismantle the barriers that divide us as a species and to make a change in the world. We are in a time of need. We need to come together and to learn to love again. Learn to listen again. Learn to talk again. Learn to feel again. Learn to let go and let in. It’s a small start but if we try, I do believe that we can start to change things because I myself have learnt that with these small steps it does indeed get better.”
