- High Life
- Avengers: Endgame
- Woman at War
Most people who are a little interested in movies have already seen them. However, you may not have seen the new features listed below.
Although most of them were hotly anticipated, you might have just missed their premieres while they were overshadowed by others. Read-on to make sure you watch them next!
Toy Story 4: Release Date 24th June 2019
The legendary Toy Story series embarks on its fourth adventure this summer as Woody and Buzz Lightyear and co return.
It is hard to believe that the first Toy Story was released 24 years ago. Where does time go?
The first Toy Story received critical acclaim and it is widely considered to be a classic of animation film making. It was also the very first film to be entirely computer-animated.
With humour and human tales and emotions at its core, Toy Story is one for the ages.
Toy Story 2 was released in 1999 and was considered by some to be an even greater achievement than the original.
Then followed Toy Story 3 in 2010, which again received high critical praise.
What is in store for us in Toy Story 4? It’s time you watched it before someone spoils all the fun.
John Wick 3: Release Date 17th May 2019
The third instalment in the John Wick series sees the hunter become the hunted. Keanu Reeves is joined by Halle Berry on the cast, and we expect fireworks.
The first John Wick was released in 2014 to critical acclaim. Grossing at least 88 million dollars, John Wick was considered one of the best action films of 2014.
Keanu Reeves was widely praised for his role in the film, with many labelling his John Wick performance as his best to date.
But John Wick 2 was even more successful, grossing 171.5 million dollars worldwide.
Released in 2017, John Wick 2 was praised for its direction, action sequences and cast performances, most notably Keanu Reeves.
Most importantly, John Wick 3 lives up to the two previous instalments.
Rocketman: Release Date 31st May 2019
All Elton John fans stand up. This biopic movie of the bespectacled music legend was released at the end of May.
This film has actually been produced by Elton John himself, along with his partner. It’s directed by Dexter Fletcher, who directed the critically acclaimed Bohemian Rhapsody last year.
Taron Egerton plays Mr John, portraying the singer’s early years. Egerton describes the film as less of a biopic and more of a “fantasy musical”.
Either way, we are looking forward to the Rocketman and any Elton John fan should not miss out on this.
Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw: Release Date August 2nd 2019
Yes we know, the Fast and Furious franchise has got a bit ridiculous in quantity, but we can’t contain our excitement about another addition to the collection.
As expected, it contains ridiculous and completely far-fetched stunts and action, the kind of stuff which has made the Fast and Furious series so successful.
The eighth instalment features Dwayne Johnson and Jason Stantham without Vin Diesel and his Gang. Whether the pair end up in a casino, an abandoned hideout or in a mad car chase (probably likely), we’ll be lapping it all up.
Strap up, because this is going to be a ride.
