Chris Stamp, Creative Director of LA based menswear brand gave us an invitation into ‘The New Soldier.’ The room with crisp white walls, deep sunk, into a haze trance with unexpected impressively thickset white smoke that grafted the room as models towered on top of pedestals, elevated like rising out of the ground. Music titled, “Gone Rogue,” by Bryant Knight was absolute and fitting; the notes trembled and rumbled as you walked through. Lost in this emotion with military detailing, monochromatic samples of angora, shiitake, pewter and indigo, structured jackets and knitted warmth, STAMPD is the modern streetwear ready for adoption. With this as their 8th collection…the desire builds in anxious anticipation of the first store opening in Los Angeles early this year.
