FAULT REVIEWS – Tom Ford SS16

tom-ford

King of the tuxedo, Tom Ford, opened his suave showroom to view the SS16 menswear collection; a continuation from last season with classic suits mixed with 70s style cowboy looks.

Jackets cut close to the waist with up-turned collars in hefty browns leathers, orange suede and pony skin had a certain air of assuredness. Cow prints in bright red and cream were statement outerwear, while the psychedelic vibes of the 70s were channelled through swirling, metallic fabrics in scientific blues and purples.

Very fine polo neck knits looked great underneath the leather jackets for that old school rock glamour.

Though the 70s trend seems to have moved on from menswear for the coming season, Tom Ford knows there’ll always be a market for the bottled formula for rock star, which he always supplies.
