NYFW Feb ’14: DAY 4 – Vivienne Tam AW14

Chinese-born designer Vivienne Tam presented her latest Autumn / Winter 2014 collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. No need to know her Asian origins to see them in her designs on the runway, where East meets West. On yesterday’s show the colors were completely wintry –in all kind of blues, greens and browns, just to say a few– but with some color splashes on the accessories such as bags, fur scarfs and shoes. However, the common thing on almost every outfit was the printed patterns matching skirts, dresses and even tights, which made a whole lady total look. One of the highlights of the show were the laser-cut effect pieces on skirts and dresses, as well as the leather garments, always a stylish choice for any woman’s daily task.
