NYFW Feb ’14: DAY 3 – Rag & Bone AW14

In the midst of a brutal NY winter the Rag and Bone’s AW14 selection played like any private art school girl’s dream closet who would play with their fathers winter wardrobe and mothers accessories. The pouchy daddy wear was refined, tapered and streamlined. The legging under short shorts mix also added to the casual elegance ease of a girl who is too cool. The most epic thing presented was in the selection of Coogi collaboration knits that evoked the ultimate in retro papa wear. The collection continued its nostalgic references with bowling shirts embroidered with each models name and range of cropped oversized chunky fair isle knits. The brands signature blazers trouser combo this time around worked well with tracksuit bottoms that kept swaying and moving.
