Daft Punk ‘Get Lucky’ Featuring Pharrell

Released last week, April 19th, the new song from famed French house music duo Daft Punk is breaking records particularly becoming the most streamed song on Spotify in the UK and US.  Co-written by Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, the lyrics suggest sexual conquest.  Pharrell assures us that this is not the only message in the song, it is also about ‘the fortune in finding potential chemistry with someone.’
It premiered on a short ad at Coachella and on Saturday Night Live.

Sprightly platinum guitar riffs and choppy lines resemble Sister Sledge’s ‘We Are Family’ to which Nile Rodgers also contributed.

The debut single from Daft Punk’s latest album ‘Random Access Memories’ is out now and available for download.
