It’s safe to say that London will be busy this summer is an understatement. London & Partners, the official promotional agency, have estimated approximately 450,000 staying visitors with another predicted 5.5 million day visitors during the Olympics. But if athletics isn’t your thing then Tate Britain are running an alternative exhibition alongside that big sporting event everyone’s talking about.

Another London showcases photography of the capital from well known international artists between 1930 and 1980, including Bill Brandt, Irving Penn and Henri Cartier-Bresson. Due to the nature of their visits, be it for work, pleasure or in some cases refuge, the collection of images showcases their various views and perspectives of London life. At a time when so many different nationalities will be visiting the city, it is a fitting display of London culture through foreign eyes.
