London Design Festival

September is a creatively orientated month. Most will assume I am referring to each Fashion Week, but I am also thinking of the London Design Festival. If you have never heard of the event- it’s a 9 day occasion that celebrates design talent, with over 280 exhibitions focusing on graphic design to architecture, to interiors to fashion.

The V&A (official supporters of the event) are holding unique exhibitions featuring designs by the world famous milliner Stephen Jones, alongside other beautiful installations such as the ‘Textile Field’ (an installation of coloured foam and textiles) by the Bouroullec Brothers.

For those that like to stumble across exclusive fashion outside of an exhibition space, the London Design Festival has also linked with other fashion avenues including the online ‘concept store’ e-side, who celebrate unique and inspired design over the net.

So regardless of how you like to discover design and fashion, be sure to visit this year’s London Design Festival (happening this week). You’ll be amazed at what you will find.
