Move over, Hailee Steinfeld! Marc by Marc Jacobs has officially released its Fall/Winter campaign advertisements, and they feature a lovely, fresh-faced Elle Fanning in some of the label’s most sought-after designs. It would seem that Elle is following in her big sister’s footsteps. After all, Dakota Fanning was the face of Marc Jacobs in 2006, and is currently the face of the label’s newest fragrance, Oh, Lola!

In front of the lens of Juergen Teller, Elle looks the part of a moody ingénue without seeming over-sexed. The first campaign image released shows the thirteen-year-old wearing a patterned brick red dress with matching shoes and bag, standing poised and proper next to a solemn-looking tree trunk. One thing is for sure: Elle Fanning is on her way to becoming The Next Big Thing.
