Mississippi duo John Barrett and Colin Sneed aka Bass Drum of Death are set to release their first full length debut called GB City.  The band has had a few 7″s and EPs over the last couple years and if their first single Heart Attack Kid is any indication of what’s to come: this band is most definitely worth a listen. Classic garage rock with an early BMRC and White Stripes vibe. As a precursor to the release of GB City via Fat Possum on April 12th the group have a small tour planned and are playing at SXSW.  Ones to watch in 2011.
