LP Tour dates drop alongside new single “Shelly”

LP has earned the kind of global cult following only possible with one hell of a writers pen. From the explosive success of “Lost On You” they have become one of alternative pop’s most recognisable voices. Now, they’re stepping into a new era with “Shelly” – an upbeat anthem that arrives alongside the announcement of a major 2026 worldwide tour!
Co-written by LP alongside Mike Del Rio and PJ Bianco, “Shelly” feels immediate in the way LP’s best songs often do. Bright melodies, soaring vocals and a track made for the summertime that’s trying its best to come through. According to LP, the song was inspired by a real conversation with a close friend.
“The first single is a real life song about a real life friend named Shelly,” LP explained. “It’s the first time I’ve done such an intimate portrait of a friend in a song. I was in the studio with my producer Mike Del Rio when I got a call from Shelly to catch up and it sparked a whole story. Life is beautiful.”
The release also marks the beginning of a celebratory new chapter for the artist. Alongside new music, LP has announced a huge worldwide tour celebrating 10 years of Lost On You – the record that transformed LP into an international phenomenon. The upcoming shows will feature songs from LP’s forthcoming album alongside a full performance of Lost On You in its entirety, giving longtime fans a chance to revisit the album that defined a generation of alternative pop listeners.
UK dates include stops at London’s O2 Academy Brixton and Manchester’s Manchester Apollo, with tickets going on sale Friday 8th May.

Since first breaking through globally in 2017, LP has amassed more than three billion streams worldwide, with “Lost On You” alone surpassing one billion Spotify streams and reaching number one in 18 countries. Yet despite the scale of their success, songwriting remains at the centre of everything they do, something we explored in our previous FAULT cover interview with LP, where they reflected on identity, creativity and navigating fame on their own terms. Long before becoming a global touring artist, LP was already shaping pop music behind the scenes, writing for artists including Rihanna, Christina Aguilera and Celine Dion. That instinct for melody and emotional storytelling still sits at the core of their work today, and if “Shelly” is any indication, this next chapter could be one of LP’s most joyful yet.
