Electron are closing out the year with one of their most gripping releases yet. Their new single ‘Lie To Me’ erupts with serrated guitars, a towering melodic hook, and an emotional volatility that feels both raw and razor-sharp. It’s a track that sees the UK heavy outfit pushing their boldest impulses forward, sharpening their sonic identity while revealing a deeper, more vulnerable edge. “‘Lie To Me’ captures the feeling of drowning in your own thoughts while searching for freedom,” frontman Jason explains — a sentiment that pulses through every lyric and crushing riff.

Taking cues from the dynamic weight of Architects, the atmospheric intensity of Spiritbox, and the uncompromising grit of Korn, Electron channel their influences into something unmistakably their own. The single grapples with distrust, false comfort, and the slow erosion of confidence, delivering a rallying cry for anyone wrestling with self-doubt or deception. It’s heavy, cathartic, and emotionally unfiltered — the kind of track that sticks to the ribs long after it ends.

‘Lie To Me’ had already begun making waves in the live setting leading up to today’s release. The band kicked off its introduction with a special October 30 showcase at the Imperial Palace of Big Red in Camden, giving fans an early taste of its bruising energy. They followed with headline dates at Brighton’s Water Bear Music Bar on October 31 and Manchester Gullivers on November 8, before returning to the stage in December for two standout shows: supporting Defences on December 5 at Downstairs at The Dome and hitting Cardiff’s Fuel Rock Club on December 7 as part of the Thank You Ozzy Vol. 1 Festival. With momentum carrying into next year, the band are already confirmed for Ride Rock Roll Metal Fest on July 25, 2026.

Since releasing their 2023 debut album Defiance, Electron have steadily carved out a space for outsiders – a place where heaviness and honesty collide. Each new release sharpens that mission, and ‘Lie To Me’ drives it further than ever, turning private anguish into a powerful communal scream.
