The new Absolut Haring x Aries capsule might only be six pieces deep, but it’s packed with cultural nostalgia.

For those who remember Haring’s original collaboration with Absolut back in the ’80s, this feels like a full-circle moment. The iconic dancing figures and barking dogs are now reimagined through Aries in a more gritty, graphic, and contemporary feel.

In all honesty, we’re most happy this collection hasn’t been a practice in revisiting the past; and instead all collaborators have come together to create something new. It’s the kind of collaboration that makes sense, not forced, not trend-chasing, just a thoughtful continuation of creative legacies. There’s also something to be said for how well Aries channels Haring’s sense of joy, the jeans and tie definitely give off that signature mix of rebellion and optimism.

In a cultural moment where streetwear collaborations are more common than independent magazines in the 2010’s… it’s refreshing to see one that feels, well… FAULTLess.
