Humane The Moon Embrace Emotional Depth and Spoken Word on New Single ‘Tetris’
Humane the Moon

East London rising indie outfit Humane The Moon return today with their most collaborative, introspective release to date. ‘Tetris’ is a slow-burning, emotionally charged collaboration with Glasgow-born, Manchester-based spoken word artist Kate Ireland, and it might just be their boldest creative step yet.
Once the solo project of songwriter and frontman Max Hanley, the act has evolved into a fully-fledged five-piece, now operating as a collective with each member bringing their own creative weight to the table. That collaborative spirit is front and centre on ‘Tetris’ – an atmospheric piece that blends Hanley’s raw, grunge-soaked vocals with Ireland’s cutting spoken word delivery. It’s a pairing that explores modern disconnection with poetic intensity, set against brooding instrumentation.
Backed by growing support from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and others, Humane The Moon are emerging as one of the UK’s most intriguing indie prospects. Known for their intense live shows, the band have spent much of the year on the road, cultivating a loyal grassroots following and sharpening their identity as a band that thrives on connection.‘
‘Tetris’ follows a run of live dates supporting Radio Free Alice and lands just ahead of their debut at SXSW Sydney – a major milestone as they prepare to take their sound international.

‘Tetris’ marks the start of a compelling new chapter for the group, one which sees them at their most open and collaborative.
