New York Fashion Week 2025: Christian Siriano SS26 – Glamour for Everyone
Christian Siriano SS26 Review

Words: Mix Cacho-Negrete
Christian Siriano’s Spring-Summer 2026 collection had something for every kind of glamorous woman. Sequined polka dots? Check. Micro mini fringe dresses? Check. Fabulous hats? Check. Bright blue and pink silky ballgowns? Check and Check.
And perhaps the most marvellous aspect of all – Siriano was able to work all of these different looks (and more!) into a single collection with sixty-two looks that still had continuity, wearability, and fabulousness all at once (and might I note, someone who encompasses all of these features – Oprah – was sitting front row, as well). I’m always impressed with how Siriano approaches the silhouette of his looks. Though many of the gowns in this collection were gigantic (cue the closing look as captured by Fault – Coco Rocha wearing a massive furry polka dot gown that had to be at least 30 pounds), he did an excellent job cinching waists, adding draping, and creating well-constructed corsets that were perfect for so many different body types. And, I have to credit Siriano for being one of the few New York Fashion Week designers who showcased size inclusivity on his runway, including models of all different sizes.

Though the grandeur of the gowns was beautiful, it was Siriano’s menswear that impressed me the most in this collection. Siriano is known for dressing some of the most famous women in the world (again, Oprah – who we chatted with after the show by the way), but over ten of the pieces in his collection were incredibly innovative menswear pieces. The looks mixed untraditional characteristics from tulle to cropped suit jackets, and accessorised with sunglasses or necklaces. My favourites included a two-piece silk look ( Siriano also made it in a sequined plaid, which was spectacular) that felt perfect for a quiet luxury groom – the draping on the top was perfect, as was the tailoring on the pants. There were also a couple of different suits – one being a black pinstripe set with a cropped blazer with nothing underneath. It was chic yet daring, but still formal enough for any gala. I’m excited to see what men are brave enough to try these looks out…it’ll be a risk that I feel confident will pay off.

All in all, Siriano continues to deliver glamour for the modern woman. But, I think he deserves credit for his innovation on the menswear side as well, as he continues to make moves that other designers aren’t. The show was a FAULTless experience and I’m always excited to cover the versions of enchantments that walk down Siriano’s runway every season – thank you for having us!
