Rising teenage sensation Zach Templar continues to grow his burgeoning reputation with a stunning new offering, ‘die 4 u’. Showcasing his dreamy vocals over gorgeous production, the track serves as further evidence as to why this Bristol-based newcomer is emerging as one of the most exciting new names around. Speaking on the track, Zach states:
“Die 4 you” is a nostalgic cry. It’s about being in a relationship with someone but longing for somebody else. Tyler the creator, Montel fish, Steve lacy all inspired me in the production of this song as they help me associate with this kind of darker passion / emotion. The production is simple yet so detailed and that corresponds to the meaning of the song. The song’s lyrics encapsulate the strong feeling of guiltiness but desire that plays on one’s mind.”
The new single unfolds like a moody, melodic dream. Led by rhythm and voice, the track draws listeners into an emotional haze, constantly shifting between light and dark.
