Sergio Hudson’s Fall 2025 Show premiered at February 2025’s New York Fashion Week and was full of inspiration for the modern woman.

Suits in nearly all colours went down the runway. There was purple and red, for the statement maker. There was grey and black pinstripe for the understated. And there was even a gold sparkly, presumably for a busy work day then a night out.

FAULT Alumn Keke Palmer, one of the many A-listers in attendance, told Fault that the show was a “classic ode to the 90s supermodels.” There were most definitely elements of that, including a plethora of dramatic outerwear –  standouts being a red fuzzy floor-length coat and a blue suede trench coat. Most looks were accessorized with a tie of some sort, which felt very vintage too. There was also a lot of cable knit that felt like it could have been on the pages of Vogue and Harper’s  Bazaar in the 90s. And the end of the show even featured American supermodel Veronica Webb in a bright red, floor-length slip gown that was the kind of iconic 90s silhouette that remains popular amongst supermodels today.

But, more than that – the collection felt wearable for any woman of today’s era – supermodel, mother, CEO, you name it.

So many designers who approach a fashion show make the pieces look beautiful – but often feel more like art – unwearable – rather than something attendees can throw on after the fact. Not Hudson’s clothes. He paired jeans on the runway (which most women of America own) with his fuzzy coats. He put white button-ups under many of the sweaters – again, pieces that most women own – or at the very least – can picture themselves in. Even his dresses were a-line or slip silhouettes, and again, he launched them in every colour from a deep purple to sleek black. Year after year, Hudson continues to show that he designs for women on the move, and his clothes are meant to be worn throughout activities, not merely on the red carpet.

Overall, Hudson continues to make clothes for women all over the globe. From Keke Palmer, to Dr. Jill Biden, to Olympian A’ja Wilson – his newest collection has a piece for anyone hoping to feel glamorous – and dare I say FAULTless – in their daily lives.
