BIG HAIR DON’T CARE! Miley looks fierce in a very Tina Turner inspired hairdo and rock’n’roll dress with all the trills. Also featured is an archive 2004 Roberto Cavalli piece which is just to die for. Fresh off her GRAMMY wins for “Flowers,” Miley joins forces with the legendary Pharrell, bringing their electrifying energy to the infectious track. The video, directed by Jacob Bixenman, is a creative outing minimal in it’s production but still effective in its ability to stun.

A storied past

Though initially intended for Miley Cyrus’ 2013 album “Bangerz,” “Doctor (Work It Out)” found new life in 2024. Marking the fifth collaboration between Cyrus and Pharrell, it stands as their first released work in a decade. The song, initially scrapped, was later reworked and emerged as a catchy blend of Pharrell’s smooth pop and Cyrus’ signature twangy vocals. With a chorus guaranteed to be an earworm, “Doctor (Work It Out)” promises a dose of playful energy for listeners.

This marks Pharrell’s second single of the year, following his collaboration with Mumford & Sons on “Good People.” Don’t miss out on that one either:

With “Doctor (Work It Out)”, Pharrell and Miley prove their undeniable musical chemistry is a force to be reckoned with.
