Words: Miles Holder

Berghaus has recently launched a limited capsule collection inspired by the concept of Urban Utility. The seven-piece collection explores the space between city and nature, with a focus on technical performance and minimalist design.

The collection features versatile pieces that are perfect for the modern urban adventurer. The crew neck pullovers are made from lightweight, waterproof GORE-TEX INFINIUM fabric and come with a drawcord hem and zipped side vents for an adaptable fit and silhouette. The Jesmond smock is made from durable, water repellent Pertex® 3D Weave fabric and specialist Hydroloft® insulation, offering optimum all-weather performance in testing city conditions.

The 3L Hydroshell® Gosforth jacket is available in two versatile colourways, Jet Black and Sand Dune. This jacket boasts lightweight and breathable waterproof protection, with a protective mask that links up with a built-in cap and adjustable hood for sudden shifts in environment and weather.

Berghaus has commissioned online platform and magazine publisher eye_C to shoot the collection. The editorial showcases the collection’s versatile wearability, elevated design features, performance fabrics, and city style sensibility. The capsule collection is available on and through selected retailers, with prices ranging from £130 – £300.
