Matthew Cancel Hosts Birthday Party With NYC’s Hottest Publicists, Stylists, Executives, and Creatives

Last Friday, CEO and Founder of Cancel Communications, Matthew Cancel, hosted a birthday party at Black Crescent in NYC. The evening’s playlist consisted of the hits of every pop diva imaginable that went in theme with the chic and rustic vibe of Black Crescent. Cancel chose this location because of its intimate and edgy ambiance. When speaking to the evening, Matthew says, “I’m so lucky that I get to call these talented and successful professionals my friends! This is such an inspiring group of young execs and creative taking over NYC and I’m glad we got to get together and have a little break from our hectic schedules. Honored that they chose to celebrate my birthday with me!”
The event was attended by NYC’s youngest and most powerful publicists, editors, stylists, and creatives including Ty Gaskins of Grazia, Tony Morrison of GMA, Sam Olson of Seventeen Magazine, Vincent Perella of ODDA Magazine, celebrity stylist, Jasmine Fontaina, model, Martin Soto, Tom Ford Beauty Global Exec, Jocelin Clayton, What’s Poppin TikTok star, Davis Burleson and celeb/fashion photographer, Vincenzo Dimino.
Last November, Matthew launched Cancel Communications – a new type of PR agency that takes an innovative and curated approach to publicity. The agency works with talent such as Platinum musical duo Aly & AJ, supermodel, Teddy Quinlivan, and social media breakout star, Davis Burleson. The agency also works with brands such as Instagram, XMONDO, and Bright Live and plans on expanding its roster throughout 2022.

A cool and hip bar located in Lower East Side filled with the most fashionable of crowds for the private occasion. There was such an energetic and positively spirited delight, while we sipped on the delicious cocktails and celebrated him.
