Lack of emotions devours us from the inside out.
Single entities, small groups, and finally, a whole society. We are slowly getting consumed by indifference to our own emotions and feelings. Anyone can say some populisms about mood issues and mental health that are repeated in social media however they do not reflect even part of the hopeless situation of people struggling with emotionlessness. No one who faced this in person can’t fully understand the problem nevertheless I am in view that pictures speak to people better than words.
Thoughts as gray as ashes, without sensitivities, are eating you alive. Your psyche is wounded. Scars on your soul are the marks left after trauma, pression, and lack of understanding, which only you can see. You are alone. You know that you are not the only facing nothingness, in the current world, this state of mind is as common as clothes from chain stores that you wear every day. Repeatable, cheap, and ordinary.
Despite awareness of this strange community, you are still alone. Participating in your own life is unavailable, you can only observe everything on the side. You are numb even by the loved ones. You are constantly alone. All this apathy you ever experienced doesn’t protect you from thinking about other people and their feelings. You are covering stagnation, numbness, and emotional torpor to avoid opening up with another human. You are starting to pretend…
