Premiere: Zikai and Jim Ouma release acoustic video of new track ‘Stay This Way’

Zikai has quickly become one of Sweden’s most exciting rising talents. Her previous single Twenty Something managed to capture the attention of listeners as she eloquently explored the hedonism and lack of direction that comes with early adulthood.

Today Zikai returns with a new single ‘Stay This Way’, with producer team JIM OUMA – a hypnotic afro-beat laden anthem where the musician which explores the feeling of longing for times gone by.

In Zikai’s own words “

“I’ve missed playing live so much so I felt that I just had to get together with Jim Ouma in a corona friendly way and perform the song live but in little more Stripped down way. Earlier this year I met Sesina for the first time, a 19-year-old amazing guitarist and songwriter, she is the one who sits next to me!”

What’s most exciting about Zikai, is her ability to show fluid growth between each release, while no two of her songs are the same, her whole choreography remains uniquily Zikai.
