[Premiere] Mokita teams up with American Football’s Mike Kinsella on “Sleepwalking”

Electronic producer Mokita, born John-Luke Carter, today shares his collaborative new single “Sleepwalking” featuring American Football’s Mike Kinsella. The track is a departure from Mokita’s prior electronica catalog, infusing more indie and acoustic vibes for a more organic sound, and allowing the lyrics to speak loudest.

“‘Sleepwalking’ is about wrestling with purpose and is more a song about questions than it is about answers,” Mokita shares. “I think everybody struggles with purpose and asks a lot these deeper questions, especially as they get older. I’m a huge fan of his [Mike Kinsella] guitar playing and just a fan of his in general, so needless to say I was so pumped to have Mike involved.”
