[Weekly Playlist] Petit Biscuit

Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer Petit Biscuit recently share “Drivin’ Thru The Night,” his second single of the year and an after dusk disco house adventure. The track follows “I Leave Again,” a collaboration with his longtime friend and esteemed talent Shallou.

Since the 2014 release of his debut single “Palms,” the 20-year-old French prodigy has converted his classically trained talents into critical acclaim, while winning over audiences on the live circuit with performances at the likes of Coachella and Lollapalooza alongside his own sold-out headline tour dates around the world.

We asked Petit Biscuit to put together a playlist of songs he currently has on rotation. Take a listen below.

Phoenix – Identical

Phoenix is my favorite french band ever, I was 15 when I discovered the song called “Chloroform” and it felt like a very new kind of music to me. Here I’ve chosen a track they did for an OST. I’ve also covered their song “1901” for Triple J, an Australian radio station.

Ryan Beatty- In The End

My photographer played this song during a trip in the South of France. This guy has worked with Tyler, The Creator and Brockhampton as well, it’s crazy.

The 1975 – Falling for You

I’ve been listening to the whole “The 1975” discography lately because I was sure I had overlooked some songs I’d like, and I fell in love with this one.

Hudson Mohawke – Tar

This guy released a new album recently and I love it! It’s an all-experimental job and it remembers me of that SoundCloud era when I was spending hours finding some gems like that.

LANY – you!

I’ve always felt inspired by LANY’s songs and productions. There’s no way I’m not singing along when I play them.

Bon Iver – Hey, Ma

I have every Bon Iver’s vinyl releases at home and when I have free time in front of me, I play them all. Each song is interesting and is worthy of attention to hear all the details, and this one is my favorite!

Frank Ocean – Godspeed

I’ve always loved this song and when I saw James Blake posting his cover on TikTok I became crazy!

Vince Staples – Senorita

This one is my favorite song to work out to, lol.

Madeon – No Fear No More (Remix with Earthgang)

Madeon is one of my mentor in the music industry. He has always been very supportive and I feel very thankful. Don’t sleep on his last album!

Bruno Major – Figment of My Mind

One of the most talented guy in my opinion! That’s exactly how I love songwriting.
