Sam Smith Releases To Die For Music Video and Album Details
So you may remember that earlier this week we announced that Sam Smith would be releasing new music today and now the wait is finally over! Check out Sam Smith’s new single ‘To Die For’ Below.
In Sam’s own words “Releasing To Die For is going to be a wild one – I feel like it’s from one of the deepest parts of me. I wrote this with Jimmy Napes and Stargate in LA during a time of self-discovery and heartbreak. This is for all the lonely hearts out there on another Valentine’s Day xx”
However, the new single wasn’t the only good news to come from Sam this week as they also announced their brand new album will be dropping on May 1st with ‘To Die For’ being the title track. This album will proceed the critically acclaimed ‘The Thrill Of It All’ which was certified Platinum here in the UK. It also included some of our favourite Sam Smith tracks including Too Good At Goodbyes, One Last Song and the spine-tinglingly gospel-inspired ballad ‘Pray’.
With so much good news pouring in, it’s a wonderful time to be a Sam Smith fan!
Twitter sleuths, earlier in the week discovered that Demi Lovato’s name was spotted in Sam Smith’s pop-up wig shop. This led many to believe that Demi Lovato will be featuring on the upcoming album. Not that we like to speculate on internet rumours, we are holding out hope that this one is true!
