Golden Daze’s “Flowers” music video is a meditation on aging

There’s a surrealist quality to Golden Daze’s music that’s deeply meditative. If you’re looking for music to get lost to in quiet contemplation, then look no further. Made up of Loeb and Schwab and originally formed in 2013, Golden Daze is a collision of the pair’s friendship and shared musical sensibilities that span Portland, Los Angeles, and their overlapping Midwestern roots. Golden Daze is truly a shared brotherhood in music, especially evident in their new 11-track album “Simpatico,” which is sung entirely in unison.

Today we’re premiering the music video for the album single “Flowers.” The clip, co-directed by Nick Lane & Julian Bridges, is a self-described “meditation on aging” that perfect fits the musical backdrop of the dreamy, lo-fi tune. Check it out below.
