The Royal Concept shares video for “Kick It”
Purveyors of Swedish melancholy The Royal Concept today share a spectacularly delightful video for their single “Kick It.” The live performance clip was filmed in a Stockholm factory and feels like a late night rave with frenetic strobe lights and movement to create a slightly jarring experience.
“I wanted the band to shine. Therefore, this is shot live, with a hand held camera in a narrow plastic box. The editing reflects the sense of a band as a unit. Almost like the band and visuals are one synched eco-system.”
The video was directed by Paul Jerndal, who has received 30 international awards and worked with Björk, Peter Gabriel and Ennio Morricone. Watch the “Kick It” music video below and keep your eyes on The Royal Concept as they prepare to release their album “The Man Without Qualities” on May 17th.
