Grammy nominated producer Audien (real name Nate Rathbun) recently released his most ambitious and comprehensive project to date, the Daydreams EP, a four song collection showcasing his ability to cross genres. It also features one of his most recognizable collaborations with country trio Lady Antebellum. If you thought country and electronic music couldn’t work together, be prepared to be proven wrong.

“With Something Better, I wanted to push boundaries,” Audien says.  “The song lends itself perfectly to call & response vocals and anthemic harmonies. Lady Antebellum aren’t just some of the best voices in Country music, but in overall music.”

ARTY – Poison for Lovers

“Arty is a great producer who has an appetite for melodic music that parallels my own. This is my favorite record off his new album. It’s an emotional groove in a slower tempo than you might normally hear from him.”

DJ Snake – The Middle ft. Bipolar Sunshine

“This is a softer side of Snake and I think a great follow up single to some of the more aggressive stuff we are used to hearing from him. The vocal on this one is unique and makes for a vibey listen.”

Code Black & Azmofears – Accelerate (Darren Styles Edit)

“A staple of my sets all year long. I started making happy hardcore like this when I first got into producing. I love this particular record because the melody is catchy as hell and puts everyone in a jovial place.”

Common – The Light

“I listen to a lot of hip hop. Common is a superior lyricist. This one is still as enjoyable to listen to as it was when it came out 15 years ago. Although I was 9 at the time.”

Super8 & Tab – Irufushi

“I gotta have some great trance in here. This is a classic from Super 8 & Tab – a Finnish trance duo. I can get lost in this track and often have – the melodies are transfixing.”
