Here come the girls! Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj all stormed to #1 on the US iTunes chart with the release of new track  ‘BANG BANG’. The track, which is actually the first single from Jessie J’s forthcoming album, features powerhouse verses from both Jessie and Ariana and an immaculate rap delivered from Nicki Minaj.

The 3 leading ladies all hold previous claim to the #1 spot in the UK or US album charts, so naturally the trio are a combined force to be reckoned with. It might already be August, but this track could just become the summer anthem of 2014.

Jessie wastes no time in letting you know they’ve arrived. Produced by Max Martin, the track maintains its up-tempo beat throughout, transitioning seamlessly through each feature and still somehow sneaking a sample of WHAM’s ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go’ into the chorus.

‘Bang Bang’ stormed the US charts in under 12 hours, so we have no doubt it’ll so the same in the UK when it’s released on 29^th September.
