Agi & Sam – LCM SS15

Taking us on a minimalist, utilitarian trip with a stop-off at a 1970’s psychiatric ward, Agi & Sam presented their own utopia of how SS15 will look come next spring.
Models with unwashed-looking Kurt Cobain-style hair, worn with John Lennon sunglasses and looking as if they were on day-release, marched the catwalk on this grey summer sunday in London.
We loved the strong structure of the clothing, the edit of colours, the socks n’ sandals styling and the undone ‘uniform feel’ of the collection. As in womenswear, the oversized look shows no sign of disappearing by next spring and will continue to be heavily referenced for at least the next year. Considering that a quarter of the men at the London Men’s Collections were already sporting versions of this look, London will continue to set the pace of the evolving style around menswear, it’s an exciting time for men.
