Julien Blet Carcy is a young French designer who has just launched his brand Julyen Carcy with his debut Fall/Winter 2014-15 collection, entitled “Ideal through reality”.

His brand has been described as “cousual” –  couture and casual at the same time.

Inspired by the 17th century, and in particular the work of painters Claude Gellée (Le Lorrain) and Nicolas Poussin, the collection aspires to simplicity, sensuality, elegance and refinement through its clothing, all of which is made in France.
