NYFW Feb ’14: DAY 2 – DEGEN AW14

The Degen installation at Industria was a fully envisioned art factory, complete with performers using a knitting machine in unison as percussion to a soundtrack of minimal electro. Churning out black lit neon garments with glimmers of 3M reflective poly tape, it was a rainbow rave. The looks fit well into this scheme of the cult that follows Lindsay Degen, although this time around the inevitable DIY selections on show were more and more elaborately knitted details – from the oversized eye balls to the minute translucent fishing line knits.
