With London Fashion Week just around the corner, excitement is building for the industry’s insight to the next big thing. And with Vauxhall Fashion Scout always ahead of the game in spotting new talent, these newcomers are definitely going to make the headlines.

Winning the coveted Merit Award of £25,000 to be spread over three seasons, is designer Heohwan Simulation, who showcased as part of the Ones To Watch show in February 2012. Expect to see straight talking, easy wearing menswear silhouettes.

With uber cool PR Agency Pop PR as the contact for the Ones To Watch designers, Charlotte Simpson, Hana Cha, Hellen Van Rees and Ming Pin Tien- they will have a head start in getting showcased to the in-crowd. And with the reputation and expertise of the agency behind them, there is no doubt, they will hit the ground running.

The designers were chosen by the Vauxhall Fashion Scout Selection Panel and included past Merit Award winners David Koma and Eudon Choi, alsongside Ruth Runberg (Browns Focus), Erin Mullaney (Avenue 32), Jessica Bumpus (Vogue.com), Tui Lin (POP Magazine), Stefan Siegel (Not Just A Label), Judith Tolley (CFE), Rebekah Roy with Martyn Roberts and Charlotte Gunstone from Vauxhall Fashion Scout finalizing the line up.

As usual, the Great British fashion industry always welcomes new and emerging talent, and London is a great place to nurture and embrace this; With each of the nominees bringing something different to the ever-evolving diversity of London’s fashion scene.

September’s Fashion Week marks Vauxhall Fashion Scout’s 13th season as the home of new talent and the full schedule of shows, installations and exhibitions will take place at Freemasons’ Hall, Covent Garden from 14th – 18th September 2012.
