Christian Louboutin’s Cinderella Slipper

Shoe lovers, eat your heart out; this is Christian Louboutin’s take on the Cinderella glass slipper. The limited edition shoes were brought to life to celebrate the release of Disney’s ultimate rags-to-riches fairytale. Christian said of his design process-

“Cinderella is not only an iconic character when it comes to beauty, grace and fairytale love, but also shoes. Her character and her story dictated the design to me… The dream is a major factor in my language of design. There are no limits in the world of fantasy and there is always a happily ever after.”

The stunning pieces of ornate footwear feature Swarovski crystal adorned lace and two sparkling butterflies. Although they’re not available to buy 20 pairs will be given away by Disney. With all those delicate crystals they’re probably best saved for actual fantasy fairytale balls.
