Rocking The Rings
Fingers stuffed with rings fascinate me, it’s the most laidback, personal, effortless accessorizing that any man or woman can do. But in my opinion rings also say a lot about the person wearing them; the thinner the band the more delicate the person, the larger the stone the more confident the person. Jewellery says a lot about people before they even open their mouths.
When it comes to wearing a hand full of rings, I am fascinated. I feel whoever’s wearing them all at once is a complex creative, who has a lot on their mind, who has a much deeper personality than what their face value may give away.
So if I had the chance to dress my hand full of rings, who would I chose to wear?
For my first finger, Alexander McQueen, their skull creations are brutally iconic in the jewellery world. On my next finger, an Erickson Beamon ring, for they are produced in the most fascinating materials in the richest of colours. And for my final two fingers and thumb? A Dominic Jones, Aurelie Bidermann and Maison Martin Margiela ring, for all capture my interest and are more than just beautiful accessories, they are genuine works of art for the hand.
