Mazzy Star – New Release after 15 years

Mazzy Star was formed in 1989 by Hope Sandoval and David Roback. The duo was signed to Rough Trade records and their 1990 debute Hangs Brightly consisted of a diverse roster of material. In 1993 the band released their second studio effort So Tonight That I Might See which included their classic Fade Into You.  The band has not performed since 2003 or formally released any material since 1996’s Among My Swan, however that is all about to change. Mazzy Star will be releasing new material the tracks are entitled Common Burn and Lay Myself Down. Mazzy Star a FAULT favourite and ones to watch in 2011.
