Hedi Slimane – Photo Exhibition “California Song”

From November 12-January 22, fashion designer and photographer Hedi Slimane will be exhibiting at the MOCA Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles. “California Song” is a photo diary of Slimane’s explorations of young, artists in California. Accompanying the visual portion of the show will be sound installations from LA based bands No Age and Ariel Pink. The artists as per the press release will make music for the show “using a fragmentary sound system, and composing panoramic scores—extended, visual song formats—which will form a dialogue with and define a sonic vocabulary for the photographs.”
