On June 28, DFA will release Cover + Remix, a 7″ split single featuring Deerhunter and Calvinist (aka Sacha Frere-Jones) covering tracks by Athens post-punkers Pylon. For the A-side, Deerhunter cover “Cool”, taken from Pylon’s 1980 debut LP Gyrate. Calvinits offers up 2 remixes of the band’s “Yo-Yo”, both featuring vocals from Sleigh Bells’ Alexis Krauss.
