THE KILLS – BLOOD PRESSURES – PRE-VIEW
The Kills via their website have just released a streaming of their forthcoming album Blood Pressures. The band’s fourth album is out April 5 and the on-line preview includes all 11 tracks from the duo’s latest studio effort. Hince and Mosshart who wrote and recorded together on their past three albums had a change of routine this album. This time around they penned tracks separately, a change caused by Mosshart’s commitments on the road with The Dead Weather. They’ve also expanded their sound on Blood Pressures by incorporating; Piano, Mellotron, and Octave Pedals into some of the tracks. Hince also used a new guitar set-up, playing through seven amps simultaneously. Blood Pressures definitely worth a listen. THE KILLS a FAULT favourite!
