Sic Alps are a group from San Fransisco members are Matt Hartman, Mike Donovan and Noel Von Harmonson. Their sound is a mix sixties psychedelia meets 90’s low-fi.  The band have steadily built a following over the past few years and have recently released their third full length album Napa Asylum via their label Drag City whose roster includes such acts as Pavement and Royal Trux. The trio have a new single out Do you want to give $$ and started a North American this month in support of their latest studio effort.  Definitely worth a listen and Sic Alps are FAULTS’ ones to watch 2011.
