THE Bryan Adams, a photographer? Yes, the very same. If you, like me, are one of the people surprised to hear that the Canadian musician has a penchant for swapping the guitar for a camera now and again, it could be suggested that we have been living under a very large rock for the past ten years. Because, fact fans, Adams has been honing his skills for a good decade now. And this is no idle hobby. His work has been featured in British Vogue, L’uomo Vogue, Vanity Fair and Harper’s Bazaar, earning him a reputation as a respected fashion photographer. As well as capturing muses as varied as Morrissey, the Queen and Lindsay Lohan under his lens, he also shot the sexy spring 2008 ad campaign for fashion label Guess, where Swedish model Line Gost was transformed into an uncanny likeness of Sophia Loren. He then pledged to donate his earnings from this shoot to the Bryan Adams Foundation – a charity he set up to offer financial aid to various projects committed to helping disadvantaged individuals from all walks of life.

Bryan: That’s funny, well first I really enjoy working with people and I believe that everyone is beautiful. I love the process of what it takes to get a good photo.

Bryan: Very much so, some people are great in front of the camera…Hello Lindsay Lohan!

Bryan: My guitarist Keith, he always gets his kit off and i don’t have to ask.
