FAULT: How has 2010 been for you?
It’s been full of changes and has brought a better understanding of myself and the universe around me. I consciously stopped giving energy to relationships that limited me.
In June, after one of the concerts we parted with the boys, in that moment, I had dropped a big ballast of defeatism and unbelief, which then brought great creative vein, but more on that later. What’s more, in November the movie “Carnal Fluidity”, in which i helped produce, and [VZ] was used on the soundtrack, won the main prize at The 5th Porn Film Festival Berlin 2010. I’ve traveled a little bit: UK, Romania, Czech Republic, Spain. I spent a month in Peru.
On top of this I make my own recording studio and organize concerts in the meditative sounds of bowls and gongs. Really a lot is going on.

FAULT: Could you tell us some more about ”Macro industry”?
“Macro Industry” is a track from our debut album [s_y = i_ntax] registered in 2006. Sounds on this song are rough, dirty, saturated with pulses, tainted by man, well reviewers what we felt then, who we were, without misunderstandings.

organic cylinders of muscle tissues
are automatically pumping the relish
of what’s hidden from my senses

multitude of forms
transbiological sexplosion

my mind is going
machine works
imagine yourself
your mind is going
and machine still works

FAULT: What is it like being an artist based in Poland?
Poland is a strange country, full of mental barriers and defects, but also there are many opportunities where the “lack” increases peoples creativity.
Proponents of the theory of Marx’s say that existence determines consciousness, and would probably have found that the Poles do not yet have enough to fully appreciate the value that the Arts have to offer, which means that talent is often lost in everyday life.
On the other hand the hunger for freedom, the need for unfettered expression of their own being, and in turn an rejection of the mindless existence are reasons why in Poland taking place a whole bunch of interesting and inspiring actions.
Sure, I wish it was easier to work and that artistic space would be freed from the entire mass of the Catholic superstition, for example, reduced sexuality to reproductive functions or to sin. I wish the earning level of society in Poland allowed to organize something more than just nourishment for the body. But I think that in the face of these adversities you strengthen the spirit. The point of attrition can become a point of growth. Much more quickly can one begin to understand what is important to themselves, no one will create a space that will fully express you- so you need and want to work. So I am working.

FAULT: What sets you apart from other artists?
I can enjoy of the freedom that independence gives me, so the world that I create is a manifestation of my unique personality. At this point I want to be well understood, I believe that every being is unique, unfortunately, not everyone is aware of this, and is able to manifest that. [VZ] has it in the genes. When you give us your attention, we take you in to the audio visual spaces, which you do not have a chance to explore with anyone else. To see this, you just have to look at one of our latest videos [psychogram] and this is only a fragment, a small portion of what we have to offer. So much by way of introduction. All interested, I refer to our images and sounds.

FAULT: What is your creative process, when writing a new song?
The latest material was formed in a completely different condition. I had never worked at such a level of subtlety, which may sounds strange in the context of the [vz] style, but thats it was. This time I created in silence, without regard for the physical aspect. It was like I was outside the body, at the time i also had a high fever.
So I grabbed that moment and experienced the creativity of the machine. I love this moment, the moment when an uncontrolled process, the apparent weakness of equipment can create an added value. Human contact with the machine and resulting with synergy.

FAULT: Do you write from personal experiences?
You ask me if I experienced myself as completely digital, or whether I met a machine considered itself as a person who has been dead for a long time- unfortunately i do not.
In this sense, I don’t write from my personal experiences. [Vz] describing time and space often goes beyond the empirical, or even a single living being in the biological sense. We bring up the role of consciousness, where civilization soon will, more or less consciously, equip the machines. On the other hand the present is full of people who resemble the equipment and mindlessly obey their commands. Governments, heads of corporations, religious leaders are dreaming of a senseless -acting like devices- citizens, employees, and faithful. In that sense, yes, this is a space of my personal experiences. I also experience an dissatisfaction with being human, this disability resulting from ones physical and mental limitations, this need for coexistence in realities and relationships, which for some reason you can not change, even though you want to. I’ve also experienced the powerlessness … but I learned the hard way that ignorance is not the answer.

FAULT: What are you currently working on?
Currently I’m working on new material. After breaking the old ties, there appeared a lightness of being, sounds just flowed. I caught a great creative vein, and in two weeks I’ve composed 50 minutes of fresh, hard-hitting, dynamicly twisted music for attentive recipient’s. The working title of the new album is “transformer – more cycles”. I also elaborate, with my friends from the “SUKA OFF”, on a new video project for one of the songs from the new album.

FAULT: Do you have any live shows coming up?
In light of the above, and with great regret I must refuse the concert proposals. The earliest live shows will probably happen in the second half of next year.
What more can I say – sometimes pause in the music is more important than sound.

FAULT: What is your FAULT?
I do not feel guilty. I try to live in harmony with myself all the while not hurting others. I also understand that any error committed by me contains an element of truth negates other errors. From this point of view, it’s extremely valuable and instead of blaming myself I would recommend to make amends. I also propose to go beyond dualism. Only when you allow yourself to see that two seemingly contradictory things can exist at the same time you will have the chance to understand what the universe has to offer through me.
