FAULT: What is the story behind Left Behind?
It all starts with an idea of our guitarist, who wanted to propose some of his u.s.a. punkrock songs. The other three members of the band loved that idea immediately. Straightaway we understood what we wanted for our music.
LEFT BEHIND gives an explanation of our past experiences and the will of starting again with another story, new, on a slope certainly, but that it’s worth to live all together in order to show us an to the others our value once again.
FAULT: What’s the creative process when writing new material? Is it a collaborative effort?
The creative process is extremely easy! It all starts with a riff and an idea of what we want to communicate in the song, than we work all together to make both the music and the lirycs immediate. So, by working in this way, we wrote more or less twenty songs in a year and a half.
FAULT: How do you prepare yourself before a live show?
With serenity, it’s always great to play at a concert and share our music with people. We always prepare us for the concert in our rehersal room a couple of day before it; while, before going on stage each of us try to find concentration in his own way.
FAULT: Do you have a creative input when it comes to press shots and music videos?
We always try to have fun and being ourselves; we bet on our charm! LOL
FAULT: What is the most challenging aspect of being a musician?
Easy answer! The will of becoming a musician as profession because in this moment of our lives we have to conciliate our jobs with our passion for music.
FAULT: Do your music reflect your personality?
Absolutely yes! Both in attitude and thought.
FAULT: What do you think the future holds the music industry?
We think majors will keep on draining the best resources of the minor independent labels, which are closer to people and freedom of expression.
FAULT: Are you inspired by music? What are you currently listening
All the music is a source of inspiration for the band. Anyway the bands we most listen to are: Rancid; Bouncing Souls; Blink 182; Social Distortion and Rise Against.
FAULT: What does the next year hold for you?
First of all we’ll keep on promoting our first disk “LEARN TO WALK”. Since a few time we’ve got closer to some bands of our zone, and we’ve enjoyed their label, the “SAMOAN RECORDS”, that will surely bring us more opportunities of being known for our future projects. In june 2011 we’ll come back in recording studio, thanks to a prize we won in a musical competition last spring, to record the drums of our next cd.
FAULT: What is your FAULT?
Believing, persevering in our mistake, that the musical culture of our country could change one day.
