We celebrated the FAULT Magazine 10 year anniversary in style with the likes of Rizzle Kicks’ Jordan Stephens, Rae Morris, Felicity Hayward, GIRLI, Dakota Blue Richards, Jonny Nelson and Sascha & Mimi Bailey at UNIT London gallery last week.

While the BULLDOG Gin sponsored bar served their signature gin & tonics (with a slice of crisp grapefruit on the rim) downstairs, guests enjoyed an exhibition of some of our favourite-ever FAULT shoots with the likes of Kylie Jenner, Usher, Ellie Goulding, Ben Barnes, Big Sean, Nick Jonas and Gary Numan. Well, we hope they enjoyed them, anyway!

Pride of place, of course, was our latest cover with Liam Gallagher. Shot by Jack Alexander, the front cover for FAULT 27: the Best of British Issue was the focal point for our showcase event that was catered exclusively by stupendous fro-yo trailblazers Snog and their brilliant new brand, Beltane & Pop.

The official ‘FAULT Magazine 10 year anniversary afterparty’ took place at Mahiki Mayfair…we think. To be honest, we weren’t quite sure where we were once our private section started overflowing with bottles of vodka and Mahiki’s trademark treasure chests!

Vampire Diaries star Candice Accola smoulders on the pages of FAULT Issue 12

We at FAULT think we’ve been pretty open about our ongoing love affair with the cast of The Vampire Diaries. After we featured Kat Graham in FAULT Issue 11, you might have thought that we’d had our fill.

Apparently not. We’ve since branched out into an open relationship with Kat’s co-stars – and we are delighted to feature exclusive shoots with both Daniel Gillies and Candice Accola in FAULT Issue 12, available to order now for delivery worldwide.

Candice Accola for FAULT Magazine Issue 12

Candice’s shoot stands out as one of the most vivid editorials that we have featured in FAULT for some time. Shot by Steven Gomillion and Dennis Leupold and styled by Avo Yermagyan, the shoot was never likely to disappoint given the talent of the creative time (including, we must say, the model herself). Deliberately smoke-screened to give a hazy, other-worldly effect for our Fantasy: Dreams & Nightmares issue, Candice also brings old Hollywood glamour to the table – or on the table, as the case may be…

Grahamification: Kat Graham in FAULT Issue 11

Photography by Steven Gomillion & Dennis Leupold

We’ve all heard the Hollywood tale where the actress becomes famous and then decides she wants to become a pop star (and vice versa) about a million times. However, unlike those yawn fests, this story is not about reinvention. This is about a highly driven talent who is finally finding her footing doing what she does best.

“I was 13 when I started getting into dancing”, says Graham. “So, at 14, I auditioned to get into an agency to be a backup dancer.” Still in her mid-teens, the Switzerland-born, L.A.-raised beauty began working with one of hip-hop’s most coveted names: will.i.am. It was sitting on the sidelines of will.i.am’s studio
space where Graham started sponging up her own musical aesthetic, eventually leading her to push her own career into gear.

Having built a relationship with the esteemed producer, Graham’s vocals were then featured on two of his songs, which was followed by an invitation to join The Black Eyed Peas on tour. “He asked me literally via text message, and I was immediately just like, ‘Sure! I’ll do it’”, says Graham. “That’s just the kind of person I am.”
