FAULT Magazine Premieres Stephanie Rainey’s Brand New Single – ‘100 Like Me’

Happy Thursday FAULT Readers! Today we’re premiering a brand new track by FAULT Favourite Stephanie Rainey. Written about self-consciousness and anxiety, Stephanie chants ‘Tell me I’m not the only one hiding’ as she pleads that someone out there shares the same hardship.

The track is written for anyone dealing with the heavy weight of their FAULTS (see what we did there) and reminds the listener that no matter what, they are not alone and should never feel that way. Obviously, we love the message and we know it will resonate with many FAULT readers, now more than ever.

With such a wonderful message and an awesome track, we’re very much looking forward to Stephanie’s new album slated for release next year. We’ve been promised the soaring full-band anthems that we’ve come to love from her ‘Half of Me’ EP.

Until then, allow us to present Stephanie Rainey’s brand new single ‘100 Like Me’ below! Enjoy

Coves Exclusive Video Premiere On FAULT Magazine Online

Coves first appeared on FAULT’s radar in early 2014 as we fawned over their then newly released album, Soft Friday.

Fast forward to 2016 and we’re very excited to premiere video for their track ‘You’re Evil’. Arguably the best song (and Radio 1’s Huw Stephens agrees with us) from the duo to date! The video directed by Jos Crowley, sees  front-woman Beck walking her way through Folkestone in southern England as the head banging and truly unapologetic track plays in the background.

Beck had this to say about the video production:

“Working on the You’re Evil video was great because I was able to work with friend and director Jos Crowley, who managed to capture the image of the song in a really clever way. I also got to freeze my ass off in Folkestone for the day and slip down some very wet steps, which got captured on camera… I’m still waiting for it to be turned into a gif.”

‘You’re Evil’ is set to release on 25th March ahead of their sophomore album ‘Peel’ which drops on 1st April. Here at FAULT we’re not only excited to hear the whole album but extremely proud to see how far this once FAULT Future has come. If you haven’t, be sure to check out our shoot and interview with the duo back in 2014 HERE.

But that’s enough from us, we are proud to present the music video below!

Conrad Sewell Exclusive Video Premiere on FAULT Magazine

Conrad Sewell has been on FAULT’s radar ever since his track  Firestone with Kygo stormed the charts last March. Now a year on, Conrad is flexing his vocals in this exclusive Naked Noise  performance session.

Singing track ‘Who You Lovin’ , Conrad lets rip on the mic with vocals so powerful you’d think you were watching Conrad on his own headline tour! Calm and controlled to begin with, Conrad truly crescendos into his zone at the 1:35 and then it’s all uphill from there.

We’ll stop writing and just let you check out the performance for yourself below! Also be sure to check out our exclusive Shoot and interview with the star from last year here.

Stealth premiers lyric video for single ‘Intro’ exclusively on FAULT Online.

You’d be forgiven for not knowing Stealth’s name but you’re likely to know his voice from popular collaborations with D&B stars Netsky Vs, Metrik on track ’Can’t Speak’ and Nitin Sawhney’s, ‘When I’m Gone’. However, as Sam Smith will attest to, there comes a time when all soulful vocalists have to stop pimping out their voices and step out on their own…

Today we’re proud to exclusively host the lyric video to Stealth’s debut single entitled ‘Intro’. This is not your standard lyric video of floating lettering and flashy colours but instead Stealth has opted for a montage of religious propaganda visuals. While a strange and provocative choice of visuals for an artist only on his debut, they are inspired by the first (and a lot of the time blind) steps artists take into the hellish music industry.

Stealth has had his fair share of upset with record executives trying to mould him in their vision as he blindly followed the lead of his own false prophets. In his own words ‘“but it wasn’t easy coming to terms with the fact that I was being a fool, and I wanted to find footage that would evoke that uncomfortable feeling I felt in myself at that time”. A message which is clearly delivered as he broods “Let me introduce myself, my name’s whatever you want it to be, my hands are tied, by the ropes of your design”.

Only time will tell if Stealth will enjoy the runaway success seen by similar modern blues artists but it’s a very strong debut made even stronger by an awesome lyric video. We’re very excited to see what else is to come in the future.

For now, we’re proud to present you with his awesome lyric video below…
